Do Beards Improve Your Self Image? November 5, 2018 – Tags: beard self image, self image with a beard
Alright ladies and gentlemen, this Monday’s thrilling entertainment is a beard tip that is near and dear to my heart, self image. Everyone that grows a beard must face it, and only those who can rise above the daily comments of haters will truly be able to wear the beard with pride.
In layman’s terms I’m just saying that it’s hard out here for ah bearder. You will experience beard hatred, whisker whining, mustache malice, bearded bamboozling, and so much more.
How can you endure it you ask? Well I’m here to show you of course…
Self Image tips for people with Beards
Alright so if you’ve ever grown out your beard you will positively be met with criticism. Whether it is your mother, brother, uncle, or even twin SOMEONE will have something mean to say about your beard (aka whisker whiners).
Now at first you may think RAD I’m growing a beard, I’m a man, I have testosterone. But once the hate mail comes feeding in you might lose a mass amount of bearded hope.
What I need you to do at this point is just STOP and go through this short list of helpful tips…
- Remember why you did this in the first place (symbol of manhood, want to impress someone, want to be a wizard?)
- Take a good long look in the mirror and pick out all of the GOOD points of your beard ( i.e. “I look really cool with a mustache”)
- Take everyone’s comments with a grain of salt and come up with good comebacks (Girl: “hey brad why don’t you shave that nasty beard” Bearded Man: “I’ll shave mine when you shave yours”).
- Be confident. The beard may put you down a few points in the ladies department but confidence is sexy and will make women look past it.
Alright well I hope this gives every man a new perspective on their beard and how to deal with criticism.
